May you look back on all the beautiful memories you shared together and may you be proud of the wonderful gift that God bestowed upon you even if it was for a little while. Sometimes God sends us angels in disguise and when their job is done he calls them home again. We will keep you in our prayers.

Our prayers are with the family and friends of Officer Davis during this difficult times. May our Lord give each of you the strength to lead you through these days to come. A servant will continue to serve in the heavens as he served proudly for this country and city. Only a few answer the call to serve, as the bugle sounds only to those that are able to hear there calling to serve with fellow brothers and sisters in arms. Long live the servants of all.

Last week, I thought I heard someone breaking in to my house (my husband was working that night). Officer Davis and another policeman came to check my house. We found that my lightbulb had gone out and made a loud noise. I felt stupid, but he reassured me.. he told me his wife calls him all the time when she gets scared. He smiled wryly when he said this; you could tell how much he loved his wife. He suggested I get a home security system, so that if I were to have an intruder, they could arrive sooner. I was thankful that he didn't judge me for being worried about the 'phantom burglar.'

I want to offer my heartfelt condolences to the Davis family. Officer Davis was one of my Criminal Justice students in several of my couses at San Antonio college. What an awesome individual!!! We had some great discussions and he was always one of the first to turn his work in. For someone who had not been in law enforcement very long, he brought a wealth of knowledge to our discussions. He will be missed by all~ Rest in Peace, Officer Davis. Mrs Lisa

My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. Robert will be greatly missed. I had the pleasure of being a classmate of Robert's for the last 2 semesters at SAC in the Criminal Justice Program. Robert was one heck of a guy and a great officer. I went back into one of the first introductions that Robert gave to our class and I thought you should know what Robert put in his introduction: "I am originally from Missouri but have since followed my wife here to San Antonio." Robert loved his wife and his family. Robert will be missed. 10-7
